Every year we have to dance the sun up on May morning – otherwise mortals would have no daylight.

May Day 2018 was special: a full moon was dropping down the sky as we started dancing at 4.30 am and we were rewarded with a glorious sunrise. Bright Phoebus smiled on us (not for the first time!) ((That’s a folk in-joke)). Then we danced around the city with Cuckoos Nest Women’s Morris.
