Join us at dawn, 4.30am, to witness the start of May Day from one of the highest points in Brighton, and one with historical resonance as an ancient Iron Age fort. We dance at the top of the hill, and then process around the fort perimeter in the first warm glow of the sun. If it’s cold and wet we process round the fort perimeter anyway. Then (after a very hearty breakfast) we will dance at various places in the city centre. We never plan this bit, so just follow the bells (or if you are lucky there will be Tweet or two with a location) until we end up at the Brighton Tavern for lunch. We stop when we fall over some time during the afternoon.
