This is our traditional start to our season. Although the Morris is supposed to start the season on May Day, we chose many years ago to dance on Shakespeare’s birthday (and his death day) and the feast of St. George. It’s also Ian’s, one of our dancer’s birthday today too. Be sure to find him and wish him Happy Birthday. The Brighton Tavern is a welcoming pub, with good beer. If we are in the mood, we might sing a few songs afterwards (if they’ll let us).
